St Adalbert Religious Education Program partners with parents and guardians to deepen students’ knowledge of the Roman Catholic faith.  Our program includes eight years of religious education and sacrament preparation classes for children, teens, and adults. Our trained catechists have many years of service in teaching the faith and a deep commitment to practicing their faith through Christian witness. To those who are returning, we wish you many blessings as you continue your journey of faith and our new families a warm welcome to our religious education family.

We will begin the St. Adalbert Religious Education Program on Sunday, September 8th at 9:45 gather in the Gym/Parish Center (52-40 84th Street) with in-person learning.  The Sunday School program will consist of classroom instruction from 9:45-11:15am and continues with the 11:30 Mass as a religious education community in the Upper Church.  The religious education class include instruction, skits, activities, prayers, and discussions on the grade appropriate subject material. Keep in mind, if you have received your sacraments your learning does not stop you continue on through the 8 years of religious education to have a deep understanding of the faith.

CCD – Catechism Teachers

We believe that faith is a journey we take together. Religious education takes a lifetime. It happens both within and beyond a church's walls. We support one another as individuals, families, and community in an ongoing search for truth and meaning. We strive to guide one another in religious study to better live our faith. We rely on qualified volunteer catechists to instruct our children and staff to protect them from any harm. This program would not be possible without our dedicated staff who generously give of their time and knowledge of the faith. We are blessed to have so many volunteers and thank them for their weekly commitment. If you would like to become a teacher or substitute catechist, please contact the Religious Education Office, please contact us at stadalbert.religioused@gmail.com
